Meet Dr. Maisie Bess (Laurie, MO)

Dr. Maisie Bess, O.D. received her Doctor of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry. She earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Missouri–Columbia.

Dr. Bess is focused on providing comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages. Her clinical interests include comprehensive eye exams, contact lens exams, eye disease management, myopia management, and scleral lenses.

Dr. Bess chose to become an optometrist because it allows her to combine her passion for science and lifelong learning with the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients throughout every stage of life. She enjoys helping patients improve their eyesight, comfort, and confidence through personalized, high-quality eye care.
